LED Downlights
Installing LED downlights has now become the sensible option for all lighting solutions whether in the home, office or commercial /public venues. They offer huge savings on energy costs and a very low total cost of ownership as they eliminate the need for light bulb replacement. The LED downlight has evolved from an expense low performance high end product to an affordable real replacement option for halogen and compact fluorescent alternatives. Using very small wattages they now offer excellent illumination and are available in warm white giving that homely feeling that compact fluorescent lighting never really offered. For commercial style lighting LED downlights can also be manufactured in pure white to maximise LUX levels and unit performance.

Dimmable LED Downlights
One of our differentiating factors versus the competition is that we are able to provide dimmable LED downlights, these are adjustable through a full range and allow areas to be illuminated as required, from subtle low light levels all the way to full maximum brightness. This increases the flexibility of the units greatly and opens up more applications for them versus standard LED downlights. These are very well suited for LED lighting solutions in the kitchen and general living areas where controllable light sources are favoured.

LED downlights IP65 Rated
We also have available IP65 LED downlights, these can be used in bathrooms and are ideal for bathroom zone one installation (directly above the shower and bath area). There is a double gasket seal that ensures water resistance. The LED downlight IP65 rated units can of course be used in normal scenarios as well and this is quite a popular option due to the flush fashionable fit they offer to the ceiling.
LED bathroom lighting is one of the current growth areas and is a good example of how well LED lighting has developed over recent years. Our IP65 rated LED downlights have been extremely well received into the market and they have good reviews from electricians, installers and home users.
LED Lighting Future
As LED lighting becomes more affordable and its performance increases as the technology continues to mature further there will be a shift in the lighting market. The long life span of LED lights will drive consumers away from the separate traditional lamp & fixture markets and the fully integrated LED lighting fixture will be the lighting source of the future. This technology means that replacement lamps are no longer required and product choice will be down to fixture design and cost.
